CSC Training Academy - 4 Hour Fall Prevention

4 Hour Fall Prevention

With the leading cause of injuries and death in the construction industry being the result of falls, construction workers are required to have some type of fall protection when working at a height of six feet or higher. This 4-Hour Fall Prevention Online course is designed for construction professionals working in New York City that need to renew their Site Safety Training (SST) card as required by Local Law 196.

This course can be combined with the 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher course to renew the SST card for an additional 5 years.

This course provides information and training on how to recognize fall hazards on job sites and methods for minimizing and preventing those hazards from leading to on-the-job injuries. The course will cover fall hazards, competent person responsibilities, types of fall protection systems, calculation of fall distances, and how to decide on proper anchorage points, among other topics.
